✨ MENTAL INFORMATION: Kalmiya generally has two speeds of mental state: thinking way too much, or not thinking at all. States of overthinking usually manifest as racing thought and are mostly prompted by worry or anxiety, chaotic considerations of every possibility that burn quickly like a fuse at both ends. They whirl quickly and can be hard to follow, stacks of rapid pattern recognition fueled by the instinctive fear of what will happen to her if she can't correctly guess exactly what's going on.

⭐ PERMISSIONS

✨ BACKTAGGING: For memes/PSLs, I'm pretty much always happy to receive a tag back even if it's been months! In games, it depends on the specific thread and the overall pace of the game, but I'm usually happy to keep backtagging a thread for a couple of months as long as I still have the motivation for it. If there's a thread you need progressed faster, feel free to hit me up to boomerang it and I'm happy to do that when I can.

✨ THREADJACKING: Yes on public network threads, ask first for log threads!

✨ FOURTHWALLING: In some cases; ask permission first! I wouldn't want anyone canon puncturing Kalmiya's campaign specifically, but I'm totally fine with characters who might be familiar with Dungeons & Dragons recognizing that she's a D&D character.

✨ PHYSICAL AFFECTION: Yes! Kalmiya is incredibly affectionate and honestly quite touch-starved.

✨ PHYSICAL VIOLENCE: Yes, but give me a heads up first!

✨ DEATH: Maybe! I'd prefer discussing it case by case.

✨RELATIONSHIPS: Yes! Kalmiya is canonically in committed relationships in her primary campaign, but she is polyamorous and she and her partners have an open relationship. She may struggle to reconcile any additional pursuits with her partners' absence in a setting, but I'm happy to explore that in a developing ship. Additionally, Kalmiya develops crushes and other non-platonic interests very easily, so she's quite shippable in both long-term romantic contexts and for brief sexual encounters.

✨SHIPPING PREFS: Kalmiya is pansexual with no gender preference whatsoever and I am happy to ship her with all gender identities and expressions. For serious long-term relationships, I would prefer to stay in the age range of 19-27 years old for her, but if we have established strong CR and good OOC communication, older is negotiable. For strictly sexual/casual relationships, anyone 18 or older is fine. (Some exceptions made in all cases for characters with incredibly long lifespans, characters who age/mature faster than humans, and characters whose maturity is not correlated with aging at all, such as robots. Basically just be an adult and able to consent.) She is very interested in sexuality and expressing it, so she may not mesh well with characters or players who are not interested in portraying sexual relationships.

✨OFFENSIVE SUBJECTS/OPT-OUTS: I prefer to be provided with content warnings upfront for domestic & sexual abuse, child abuse, and self-harm, but I'm fine to engage with any of these subjects as long as they're warned for! I would rather not play with explicit animal abuse/neglect, but if it's important and we have close CR, let me know and we can work something out. I do not wish to play with graphic descriptions of maggots or similar parasites. (Non-graphic references to these things are fine.)

⭐ CONTENT WARNINGS

✨ CULT MENTALITY & BRAINWASHING: The culture and religion of Kalmiya's hometown were based heavily on powerfully insular religious cults, particularly extremist Christian cults. Being raised against her will to lead the town, Kalmiya was both perpetrator and victim of Sanctuary's cultish practices, ensuring her own survival by upholding the very same behavior and expectations that caused her such misery.

✨ RELIGIOUS TRAUMA: TBE

✨ CHILD ABUSE & NEGLECT: Kalmiya was never the victim of intentional physical violence in her upbringing, but was subject to much neglect of care and emotional abuse, as well as disciplinary techniques like isolation and food withholding which did affect her physical wellbeing.

✨ DISSOCIATION & DEPERSONALIZATION: Kalmiya's sense of identity is deeply fractured as a result of growing up with nearly no opportunity for self-expression or self-determination, and she has had to make concerted efforts to repair her relationship to her own emotions, which she often had to repress or compartmentalize as the Savior of Sanctuary. As a result—usually in time of intense distress or hardship—she sometimes feels strongly that she is not the same person who led Sanctuary, that her face and body are not truly her own, and that she is disconnected from the emotions she's experiencing.

✨ VICARIOUS TRAUMA: Part of Kalmiya's duties included listening to confessions and offering counsel in private settings, so she was exposed to many accounts of triggering topics like alcoholism/drug abuse, domestic abuse, religious trauma, and other issues that are common within dysfunctional and repressed communities.
